Dr Katherine de Rome completed her undergraduate degree at Cambridge prior to studying medicine at Kings College London. She began her surgical training in London, where she was fortunate to work at several large teaching hospitals. These early placements embedded the importance of delicate tissue handling, an eagle eye for detail and comprehensive anatomical knowledge of the body.
She relocated to the New Forest with her growing family, training in General Surgery across Hampshire. As a NHS Surgical Registrar she has experience with the use of Botox treating several non-aesthetic conditions. It was during maternity leave and the many sleepless nights this comes with, that she took an interest in its application in aesthetic medicine and how to achieve a natural rested glow. Taking this interest on to accreditation, by undertaking her Aesthetics training at the Harley Academy.
