Anti-wrinkle injections

Anti-wrinkle injections work by using Botulinum Toxin A to temporarily relax specific facial muscles that cause dynamic lines in the skin. Reducing wrinkles and causing a more youthful appearance. The effects are typically seen for up to 12 weeks.

The areas to treat are a very individual decision. Typical areas that can be treated include the Glabella area (frown lines), Forehead brow lines and the Crow’s feet around the eyes. Other areas that can be treated are nose bunny lines, a down turned smile and chin dimpling.

  • Prices: 1 Area £200, 2 Areas £250, 3 Areas £300, Additional Areas £120

Dermal Fillers

Filler consists of hyaluronic acid, a natural compound made in our skin and connective tissues. Hyaluronic acid naturally depletes as we age resulting in volume loss. Precise placement of small volumes can give a plumped smooth youthful appearance. Results are instant and can last upto 18 months depending on the area treated and filler used.

  • The Areas I treat are the chin, jaw line and cheek. Prices form £200.

Typically, it should last between 3 to 4 months. At this time the botulinum toxin will have worn off and the muscles will function once again. It is not possible to provide further treatment within a 12-week window to the same area as this can increase the risk of the body producing antibodies to the toxin.

With Botox results become visible after 3-4 days. However, it can take 14 days to take full effect. At this point it is possible to provide top ups at a review if required. With filler the effects are more immediate, but it does take up to a week for swelling to settle.

Botox has been used safely to treat numerous medical conditions for over 20 years with very minimal serious risks. Immediately after treatment a small, raised bump may be visible, this will disappear quickly. Some may experience very slight bruising. After care and risks will be discussed in person at the time of the consultation.

Filler adverse reactions or complications related to migration or blood vessel blockage are very rare. More common side effects are redness, swelling, tenderness or bruising around the site of injection and should resolve within a few days. Infection is also a risk and precautions will be taken at the time of injection to keep this risk to a minimal.
